Designed for theatre and television applications, the motorized barndoor system manufactured specifically for Giotto Wash 1200 fits on to the fixture's head, from whish it receives its power supply and DMX signals for opening and closing the individual leaves.

Each barndoor leaf is independently controlled, while a fifth motor rotates the entire group through ±95°.

When the motorized barndoors are used, the number of  DMX channels required to control the fixture increases from 13 to 18 and the built-in microcomputer sends the new signals directly to the relative electronics.
