of International Olympic Commettee Juan Antonio Samarances, all the world

attitude to the assignment.
We all worked effectively together for the World Youth Games gives the start
to a new bright tradition in the Olympic Movement.
I'm conviced that revival of the Motherland is possible only at the complete
unity of the people on the basis of solidarity, good and peace. These are
exactly the same ideals that have been actively established during
the World Youth Games.
I also express my confidence in the fact that at your active participation
together with all citizens of Moscow we'll be able to organize the celebration
of the 200-th Anniversary of the genius of the world culture A.S.Pushkin and
carry out the Millenium festivities.
